In case you haven’t heard, 826 Boston has made the news, in a pretty big way.
Writer/actor/director/producer Lena Dunham paid them a visit on Friday.
And, the Globe obviously scooped the story for its “Names” section.
Dunham’s visit is pretty cool, but 826 Boston is amazing in its own right. In addition to offering after-school programs, tutoring, and field trips for local school children, they publish student-authored books, encourage creative thinking and storytelling, and provide a safe space for the city’s kids.

Way to go, 826 Boston! We can’t wait to see what else you’ve got in store.
