Boston Cultural Council offered $5000 Grant to honor “Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción” for the fiscal year 2013

IBA, which refers to “Inquilinos Boriquas en Acción” was founded in 1968. It is a community development corporation, whose mission is to increasing the social and economic power of individuals and families through education, economic development, technology and arts programming that builds safe, vibrant and culturally diverse affordable housing. Villa Victoria Center for the Arts is one of its programs, which has become a multi-functional community arts center in Massachusetts. In 2011, the center won a “2011 Commonwealth Award”-Massachusetts top cultural honor. This year, the Boston Cultural Council was proud to give Inquilinos Boriquas en Acción (IBA) a $5000 Grant for the fiscal year 2013 to support its programs.

On July 19, 20 and 21, 2013, IBA will hold a big Festival called “Festival Betances 2013”, which will include Festival Parade, Youth Day activities, Basketball Tournament, Domino Tournament, and Family Day and Noche de Bohemia.
